Lack Sleep could lead to Weight Gain

The reason why weight gain can be associated to lack of sleep because there was a study conducted that found out a connection of lack of sleep and obesity. The truth is any individual who do not get enough sleep have an increasing risk factor to become obese. Lack of sleep also reduces the amount of leptin in the body, a substance that suppresses appetite. Lack of sleep could be caused by sleeping problems, and if to get the right amount of sleep despite of the sleeping problems, we need a sleep aid. Sleep aid can help produce melatonin in the body, a substance which acts as sedative getting us to sleep.
