Gingivitis ulceronecrotic acute
Non-contagious infection secondary to fusiform and spirochete bacteria, which usually destroy the interdental papillae and sometimes colonize the marginal gum and gum stuck by direct extension. Poor oral hygiene coupled with physical or emotional stress, nutritional deficiencies, with bleeding disorders, the disabling and insufficient rest predispose to this condition. It rarely occurs among non-smokers.
Symptomatology
The onset, usually brutal, can be accompanied by a feeling of unease. The main symptoms are severe pain at gums rare, hypersalivation of breath. In general, there is no fever except in cases of secondary infection. The ulcers, often limited to the marginal gum and interdentally papillae, have a look at the punch feature. They are covered with a grayish membrane and bleeding after a slight pressure and / or irritation. The lesions similar to the oral mucosa and the tonsils are rare. The speech and swallowing may be painful. Of regional lymphadenopathy are often present.
